When it comes to eye shadow, the color wheel is your best friend. Did you know, many makeup artists refer to the color wheel when picking the best complementary colors for your look? They’ll look for warmth/coolness in your skin as well as the color of your eyes. It’s quite simple to find the best colors to make your eyes pop. Find your color, then match it to the color directly across from it.

When it comes to a makeup pallet, there’s many different shades of the same color. With that being said, if you have green eyes, that doesn’t necessarily mean you should wear fire engine red. Find a color that exudes red or is adjacent to that color such as plum, wine, or lavender.
